Goodbye Vancouver, Hello the world.

I can't believe it's all over. Thank you, you know who you are, all of you. Even if you aren't in these photos (I had to make hard choices) you were there and you made the last semester very special for me. No captions, I'm too sad. In no particular order

My Easter Holiday in Victoria

I went over to Victoria with Mike, Nic and Milos for the Easter Holiday. The trip over to the island was a largely non-eventful ferry ride into the depths of hell thanks to the beautiful Vancouver climate of rain upon rain which led to some choppy conditions. Once we reached Victoria though it was all sunshine and happiness....after the rain cleared off 7 hours later. We decided to do something different and part of our trip package was the night stay at the Empress Hotel which is apparently 5-stars.

Slumming it as per usual.

This was Nic and Mike's room. Milos and I shared something smaller, but I prefer to say it was "cosier". The first day in Victoria was largely uneventful. We were all tired from a lack of sleep the night before so we went to see the wax museum and the BC Royal Museum. I think this choice was based largely upon the fact that we wouldn't have been concentrating in there anyway.

Pretty as ponies, when the sun came out so did we.

We have boy band potential I think, but which of us will be the talentless dancer who always has the speaking verse?

That night was a different story. Afternoon naps and a nice buffet later we hit the town and found the only Karaoke joint worth knowing about, Sopranos.

Before we got drunk we stopped to admire the view. Only Canadians would make their Parliament easier to for terrorists to find by lighting it up.

O ye’ll tak’ the high road and I’ll tak’ the low road,
And I’ll be in Scotland afore ye. Don't drink and sing kids.

Sarah and Aoife actually gave up chocolate for lent which makes them better people than me.

Living la vida puto.

You always know where to find me.

The next morning, after a long sleep in, we all arose fresh and ready to head off to the Butchart Gardens.

Mike and Celina are in denial, we're going to see formal gardens guys. There's nothing cool about that.

Following are a heap of photos of the Gardens taken by either me, Nic or Milos.

Which is shallower, me or the bucket.

*Cough*.

Culo!

There we go. The weekend was good fun and it was nice to be out of Vancouver for a little while. Seeing as this was a couple of weeks ago you'd probably expect a heap of more stories since then but you'd be disappointed because after this I was working hard on assignments and studying for exams....ok well there was this one party...
